Studland Village
Our three sandy National Trust beaches consist of four miles of sand, dunes and trails and are linked by the South West Coast Path. Each beach has a cafe and carpark. There are kayaks, paddle-boards, sailing and beachside activities at Middle and Knoll beaches. Studland watersports also now has a beachside sauna which gets busy so contact us if you'd like to use it. The village shop and post office is open daily and sells food, alcohol, newspapers, gifts and many other useful necessities. The church, pub and an excellent hotel are in the heart of the village. We also have a riding stable, a golf club, a social club, a village hall and a yoga space all offering a range of activities.
Local Walks
Our property is just a few steps from the path to Ballard Down with its views to Old Harry Rocks, Studland Heath, the Isle of Wight and Swanage. Walking paths, cycleways and bridleways from here allow anything from a short stroll or run to an all day hike or cycle ride. We have maps and suggestions for all options.
Exploring Dorset
We are ideally situated for day trips around the Isle of Purbeck and Dorset. We have ideas, maps and guidebooks to help you plan your days in sun or rain. Although summer is perfect for lazy beach days, all seasons are full of possibility. We can provide rucksacks, flasks and a picnic blanket.
